Dr. Shell has been a part of the Butler Creek family for many years and has developed a deep appreciation for both the community and the teammates he works alongside.
His professional interests include feline medicine, particularly the unique medical challenges cats can present, as well as geriatric medicine, and helping pets maintain the best possible quality of life as they live longer lives. He also enjoys oncologic surgery and has a passion for dermatology and helping patients with chronic skin and ear diseases.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Shell is married to the love of his life and shares his home with two cats: Kevin (pictured) and Green Bean Casserole, a chaotic orange tabby. He is also an avid freshwater aquarist and especially enjoys planted aquariums and Neocaridina shrimp.
