The purpose of this position is to maintain animal health by diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries. The Associate Veterinarian works under the direct guidance and supervision of the medical director and hospital administrator of Butler Creek Animal Hospital. The Associate Veterinarian is to make every effort to help improve the quality of care given to our patients.

The Veterinary Assistant is responsible for assisting Veterinarians and Credentialed Veterinary Technicians in the care of animals, the hospital, and all medical equipment and machinery. Assistants will help maintain a clean, efficient, and healthy environment for animals being treated or boarded at the hospital. The Veterinary Assistant is a crucial part of the medical team and is responsible for advocating for the patient as well as educating the clients.

With your skills and expertise, you’ll advise pet parents on the best services for their pets and perform grooming services that exceed their expectations. As a veterinary technician, you will work alongside veterinarians and assistants to make a difference in the lives of the pets and clients we serve. With the chance to utilize your veterinary knowledge, communication skills, and love for pets, this role will afford you the opportunity to define a clear career path for continued growth and learning.

A client care specialist drives the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary medical team (in terms of numbers of clients and pets), ensures good communication with associates and clients, and coordinates the care of clients and pets in a happy, welcoming, friendly and efficient manner, influencing clients to return and refer their friends and families.
